Summer Blues

It’s that time of the year once again! Back to school time. Before you start organising your school essentials, ask yourself – are you fully prepared for the new school year? I know that going back to school can be slightly depressing for most of us but unfortunately we have no choice, however we can make it easier for ourselves.

Routine
During the summer, staying up late and sleeping in are the norm, but as the start of the new school year draws near, getting back into a routine is essential! As we are now into the third week of August, school is just 3 weeks away from starting. Try and get yourself back into a regular sleeping pattern by going to sleep at least 15-20 minutes earlier at night and waking up 15-20 minutes earlier in the morning. This way once school begins it will not be a shock to your system.

Be equipped
Buying school supplies makes going back to school much more exciting. I buy most of my school supplies from Wilkinson and Tesco as they have a great selection of cute designs and also nearer to the end of August most of their stationary is usually on offer!

Relaxation
During the summer you have all the time in the world to do what you want, when you want. However when you get back to school, it can be difficult to find time to yourself when you have homework and exams to juggle. It is important to have one day a week where your relax and forget about everything that is worrying you.

Rememberwork hard and you can get anywhere you want.
