Celebrity Crush, Skincare Tips & Regrets | #AskFran

If you follow me on Twitter (@franciscarockey) then you will know that I recently asked my followers to ask me some questions, so I could do a Q&A here on my blog.

Q. What is your top skincare tip?
A. Exfoliate your skin once a week. Exfoliation does not need to be done every day, as this can make your skin irritated and raw over time. Instead, aim to exfoliate your skin once every 1-2 weeks to remove dead skin and soften it up. I recommend the Boots Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Exfoliating Face Scrub (buy here). Simply wet your skin, scoop some of the exfoliant onto your fingertips, and massage it onto your skin. Do this for 60-seconds, and then use a bit of warm water to rinse it off.

Q. Who inspires you?
A. Although, I do not have a specific name or list of names to mention as my role model. I am inspired by people who have come from nothing and fail a million times but eventually make it to the top.

Q. Three products you would not repurchase
A.  1. Maybelline Baby Lips
     2. Revlon Lip Butter
     3. Dot by Marc Jacobs

Q. Who is your Celebrity crush?
A. His eyes are to die for and let us not forget his impeccable jaw line. It is no other than Ian Somerhalder also known as Damon Salvatore from The Vampire Diaries.

Q. What is one thing you regret the most?
A. I personally do not see the point in regretting anything because everything happens for a reason. Life is full of lessons, if you do not make mistakes then you will have nothing to learn from.

Thank you to everyone who asked a question!

Garnier Moisture Match

This is by far the best face moisturiser I have ever tried. Shine be gone glides onto dry skin and leaves you looking mattified and luxuriously moisturised. It has Green Tea extract which is known for its powerful antioxidant and detoxifying properties which protect the skin whilst leaving it looking beautifully smooth and matte. This has a great oil busting formula that keeps skin shine free for around 8 hours but adds a light dose of hydration to oily/combination skin without overwhelming.

Overall, I really love how moisturising it is to my skin, I have seen a huge improvement in my skin since using this product. At £3.99 your skin can get a little boost without breaking the bank, I will hundred percent be repurchasing this product and I would definitely recommend it.

One  of my goals for this year is to develop some sort of skincare regime and take better care of my skin. Firstly, I purchase the miccelar water as previously, I used a flannel and hot water to remove my makeup overtime this can be damaging to your skin due to the continuous rubbing. Therefore, I needed something that would be more gentle and less abrasive on my skin.

Next purchase, I popped into Superdrug on the look out for a new face moisturiser  and came across the Garnier moisture match on offer for £3, what an absolute bargain!

Last but not least, I went to Debenhams and headed towards the Benefit station, looking for a some new brow products. I had heard a lot of beauty bloggers rave about the Benefit brow zings, so the women at the counter did a tutorial on me. For £24.50 the price is quite dear, but a little goes a long way. Look out for a brow routine post in the upcoming future.

Blogging Routine. I used to upload a blog post twice a week but since starting GCSE I barely have time. In this New Year I want to get back to posting twice a week!
Travel. This year I would like to explore more of the city and embark on some new adventures and experiences.

Improve my Content. I am always looking for ways to improve the content on my blog. This year expect, improved blog photos and brand new features.

Stay Organised. This is something I did quite a lot of in 2014, but towards the end I started to slack and became unorganised which caused me to have a lot of unwanted stress.

Be Happy.  Most importantly, this year I would like to focus on my happiness. Do things that make me happy and surround myself with people who make me happy and be happy with myself.

2015 will be bigger and better.
