A side profile shot of me sitting in a white hanging chair
We're in the penultimate month of 2019, have you achieved one or all of your resolutions for the year? I didn't bother setting any. Instead, I set myself weekly or monthly goals throughout the year. Circumstances can change and set you far away from your yearly goal and you're just giving yourself unnecessary pressure. If you're someone who makes new years resolutions and never sticks to them, try setting daily, weekly or monthly goals instead.

At the beginning of October, I started a new job at the Yorkshire Soap Company as a Sales Assistant. I'm only a Christmas Temp and though the opportunity to stay on after my contract ends is there, I miss the fast-paced, busyness of hospitality.

My birthday is a few weeks away and I actually have plans this year. I was supposed to be writing an essay the other night but spent hours planning and putting things together so I can actually celebrate with friends this year, the struggles of being a Boxing Day baby. As my 20's approach, I'm starting to feel a lot of life pressure. Admittedly, I'm not exactly where I wanted to be by the time I reached 20. In my 19th year, I've achieved so many things that I didn't think I was capable of achieving and I may not be on the path I hoped to be on but I am working towards getting there and slowly but surely, things will and are falling into place.

Remember when I said I was going to stop saying men are trash and attempt dating? I'm getting somewhere, I think? I've discovered that I'm very reserved with my emotions and find it difficult to open up about how I feel, I don't like PDA and the talking stage is a tedious journey.

How's your life lately?
